We share with pleasure this news published in June 2025 by the IIS Segato (Technical High School Institute) in Belluno.
Five students from 5AMM class (Mechanics & Mechatronics) have built by themself a workshop drawer.
We are proud to see this project completed.
The students have had the opportunity to confront with both our technical office and production: 3D modeling, simulation, cutting and bending of the parts they had designed.
This activity is part of a larger project, started in 2024, which aims to create and maintain a school-work synergy within the field of sheet metal processing.
Last April, we hosted with great pleasure and for a whole morning the third class of the same study field (25 guys and 2 teachers), attracting high interest among students.
At the end of the visit, each student received a bag containing a book about sheet metal working theory, a bending gauge and a funny gadget made of course by.. sheet metal.
Activities such these are fundamental to keep school close to local territory.
These allows our students to know the technologies, the state of the art in sheet metal working and the opportunities that our province can offer, especially in terms of future employment.
